Please save the date for United Way Day at the Texas Capitol on Wednesday, February 24, 2027.
After partnering with OneStar during the past two legislative sessions to bring the broader nonprofit sector together for a shared day of advocacy, we're excited to once again host a dedicated United Way Day at the Capitol for our members. Although United Way Day at the Capitol will once again be a standalone event, we've intentionally scheduled it during the same week as the Texas Nonprofit Summit so local United Way staff and partner agencies can take advantage of both opportunities while they're in Austin. Attendees can participate in the broader nonprofit conversations taking place throughout the Summit, then join the United Way network for a day focused on strengthening our relationships, engaging directly with policymakers, and advocating collectively as a UNITED voice.
Our 2027 theme is: United We Thrive: Mobilizing Texas for Healthy Communities, Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, & Community Resiliency.
