United Ways are hard at work across Texas to ensure individuals and families have the opportunity to succeed, by focusing on education, financial stability, and health.
Because United Ways are working everyday to address the root causes of community challenges, and create long-term, systemic change, they are uniquely positioned to engage in public policy as a local advocacy voice.
Through a statewide system of helpline regions, called 2-1-1 Texas, Texans are able to be connected to health and human service information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
