United Ways of Texas is offering a scholarship opportunity to attend the 2026 Texas United Conference. We are thankful to United Way Worldwide for making this opportunity possible.
Scholarships are estimated at a minimum of $400 per attendee. We may be able to provide more funds based on the number of scholarship requests received; however, budgets should assume a scholarship estimate of $400 per attendee.
We are hopeful this scholarship encourages attendance, and United Ways can send more staff than planned, including registering staff of all various roles within a UW organization. Priority will be given to United Ways that serve communities with an ALICE population of 30% or more, and there will be a focus on ensuring all size United Ways, rural communities and geographies are represented at the conference.
Current United Way staff are eligible to apply for this conference scholarship, and we ask that only one application is submitted per United Way. Multiple submissions will not be considered. Scholarship funds will be distributed directly to the United Way after the conference, once attendance is confirmed. The deadline to apply for this opportunity is February 13, 2026.
