Pre-K Resolution
United Ways of Texas, in conjuction with member United Way of Greater Dallas, recently authored the United Way Pre-k Resolution. The statewide resolution states the numerous educational, social and economic benefits of pre-k and asks Texas legislators to make pre-k a top priority in the 81st Legislative Session. Local United Ways had the opportunity to adopt the resolution to express the importance of pre-k both throughout the state and within their communities. In total, 28 United Ways from throughout the state signed on to the resolution in a strong display of statewide support for pre-k.
