KAREN JOHNSON
President/CEO
Ms. Johnson has a lengthy history working with state agencies, elected officials, and in the private sector as a lobbyist, attorney, and head of an energy company. She has led United Ways of Texas to be recognized as the #1 nonprofit lobbying organization in the state. Ms. Johnson was honored in 2006 with the Austin Business Journal’s Profiles in Power Award.
ROXANNE SALDAÑA JONES
Senior Vice President of Operations
Ms. Jones oversees all United Ways of Texas’ statewide initiatives, grants and projects and is responsible for day to day operations. She also leads our contract with the State Employee Charitable Campaign, and serves as the State Campaign Manager.
NANCY THORNTON
Vice President of Finance and Administration
Ms. Thornton has extensive experience in finance and accounting. She oversees all aspects of United Ways of Texas finance and administration, as well as managing human resources and board relations.
SHANNON STAGNER
Director of Projects and Communications
Ms. Stagner supports all levels of project administration, including event planning, communications strategies, member relations and program evaluation for UWT's several initiatives.
